At Arun Estates, we recognise the importance of sustainability and are committed to reducing our environmental impact. As the largest estate agents in the Southeast, we understand the importance of sustainability and have taken significant steps to minimise our carbon footprint.
Our ongoing efforts have led to significant progress already:
- Our motor fleet has secured a 32% reduction in annual energy consumption.
- We now recycle 77% (around 400 tonnes) of the general waste generated from offices.
- We recycle all of our old IT equipment.
- All 75 tonnes of our confidential waste are recycled.
- The electricity we use comes only from fully renewable sources.
- All of our For Sale & To Let boards are recycled to create new boards.
- Our property energy consumption has reduced by 10% through branch refurbishments, upgrading lighting, heating and cooling systems.
While we are proud of the progress we have made, we recognise that sustainability is an ongoing journey. We remain committed to identifying new ways to further reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a greener future.
